Marella Briones serves as the Office Manager & Executive Assistant at Bluestone Equity Partners, bringing a diverse background spanning private equity, technology, finance, hospitality, and education. Prior to joining Bluestone, she held a similar role at Vertica Capital Partners, a software-focused private equity firm, where she managed office operations, provided administrative support, oversaw technology initiatives, and coordinated recruitment efforts.

Earlier in her career, Briones was the Regional Manager for New York City at TAP Network, a tech startup specializing in marketing solutions for the food and beverage and hospitality sectors. She also spent nearly a decade as an Account Manager at Mozart Systems, a network consulting firm, where she collaborated with executive and technical clients, vendors, and partners to manage IT projects, including hardware and software installations, system migrations, building construction, and audits for clients in the financial services industry.

Briones's professional journey began in education. She directed the choral music program at St. John’s Public High School and Middle School in Michigan and later served as an Associate Professor of Music at Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Missouri. At Lindenwood, she was responsible for all choral activities, music direction for theatre productions, adjunct voice faculty duties, voice area recruitment, and music curriculum development.

She holds both a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University.
