Jack Ross is a Senior Associate at Bluestone Equity Partners. Prior to Bluestone, Ross worked as an investment professional at The Blackstone Group (Blackstone) in the Strategic Partners group. During his time at Blackstone, he was engaged in underwriting prospective and active private equity investments, as well as secondary private equity transactions. Ross worked extensively on conducting financial modeling and market analysis on potential investments. Previously the CFO of Vintro – a consumer technology company based in Chicago, Ross oversaw all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and successfully executed a large-scale Series A fundraise with key strategic investors. Prior to Vintro, Ross worked at FJSP, a sports handicapping firm focused primarily on business expansion, customer acquisition, and allocating resources. Previously a volunteer at the Blackstone LaunchPad, Ross now supports Cleats for Kids, a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides sporting equipment to underserved student-athletes in Oklahoma and other Midwest communities. He is also focused on the Young Leadership Committee for Billion Oyster Project, a non-profit focused on restoring oyster reefs to the New York Harbor through public education initiatives. Originally from Oklahoma City, Ross graduated with cum laude honors from the University of Chicago where he was a Cherokee Nation Scholar and earned a B.A. in Economics, with a concentration in Business. Ross was a defensive lineman on the UChicago football team, where he received the Allstate Good Works Team Award.
